The Joseph Krauskopf Memorial Library Updates
In the spring of 2024, DelVal received a seven-figure gift from The Daniel Tanner Foundation to improve and update the lobby and both wings of the Joseph Krauskopf Memorial Library. The renovations allow the space to be a focal point of teaching, learning, and gathering for the campus and external communities. The Shapiro Wing is designed for group study and collaboration, while the Cooke Wing is reserved for silent individual study. The lobby area and Memorial Room have been refreshed with new furniture, lighting, and rugs. Students have access to computers, copiers, and printers. Former Trustee, Dr. Daniel Tanner ’46 was deeply committed to education, authoring 15 books on the subject, and serving on the faculties of Purdue, Northwestern, and Rutgers universities.
