Hello! My name is Jess, and I am the new owner of your beloved Makers Off Main; the downtown Doylestown shop for handmade goods by local makers.

First and foremost I wanted you to know that while the business has changed ownership, its heart and purpose will remain the same: A creative, community space for local makers to sell their beautifully handcrafted items!

From a very young age, I watched my mom use her sewing machine to transform scraps of fabric into beautiful creations. I loved being with her at various craft shows in the region, gaining interest in the business side of selling as I grew older. It became my mission to share the amazing handmade products of others, including my mom’s. My path eventually led me to opening our current storefront, The Farmhouse Gift Boutique in Warrington, PA.

We’re excited to rebrand The Farmhouse location under the Makers umbrella to Makers On Main in the coming weeks! Part of our initiative is to grow the DIY workshop offerings, with plans for much larger studio space at the Warrington shop. Here we will be able to host bigger groups for even more frequent, creative classes, as well as continuing education style sessions for our makers and their businesses.

We are reopening our doors on Saturday, July 8th at 11am.

Becoming a part of this community means so much to my family and I, as a multi generational group of makers ourselves. Supporting fellow artists, creatives and entrepreneurs in their paths to fulfilling, authentic and successful lives is a dream come true. I am deeply humbled and grateful for this opportunity.

GOOD NEWS! Makers Off Main is not closing, but transitioning to a new owner! Jessica, from the Farmhouse Gift Boutique, is taking over! Stay tuned for announcements on dates and upcoming events.

Today is our last day! We’re open til 5:00. The new owner, Jessica, will take over starting tomorrow, but the shop will be closed in June so she can get everything ready.

Thank you all for supporting us during this transition and for the past three years. We can’t wait to see what Jessica has in store for Makers, and we’re so glad that the shop gets to continue supporting local artists and crafters. 🖤🖤🖤

Only 30 days left to shop in person Makers Off Main!

It is with heavy (but full) hearts that we make this announcement. Unfortunately we will not be renewing our lease at 38 East State Street. The shop will close on 5/31.

While our brick and mortar future is uncertain, we will definitely continue to host workshops and craft markets. Supporting local makers has always been our mission.

We have enjoyed every moment of this journey (except for maybe the leaks/floods and that time a bird flew into the shop…. 🤪😅).

But seriously, the outpouring of support from this town has been incredible ever since we announced our concept back in April of 2020. We made it through every bump in the road thanks to this passionate community of makers and neighbors.

The shop will remain open throughout April and May, so please show up and support our vendors while we are still here! We will continue to get new products until the end!

We love you all. This is not a true goodbye. This is just a new leg of our journey 🖤
