Healing requires trusting yourself and recognizing that you matter. It involves practicing expressing emotions, and letting go of things that are no longer working for you. Learning to seek help when needed, and enduring the uneasiness that comes with others’ reactions, whether they choose to support you or not. Healing happens when we hold boundaries in appropriate ways. Even when is triggers negative emotions such as rejection, abandonment, fear, unworthiness or shame. It’s important to understand that if we don’t prioritize our own needs, nobody else will, and this realization empowers us in significant ways.
Studies show that LGBTQIA+ individuals are at a higher risk of experiencing mental health challenges due to discrimination, stigma, and other forms of systemic oppression. That’s why it’s crucial for mental health providers to be aware of the unique needs and experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community and offer affirming and culturally competent care. If you identify as LGBTQIA+ and are struggling with your mental health, know that you deserve support and help. Seek out a mental health provider who is knowledgeable and affirming of your identity and experiences. You are not alone and there is help available. Let’s work together to ensure that mental health treatment is accessible and inclusive for everyone.❤️

Healing is possible. It can feel overwhelming, or unattainable, but with the mindset that it is possible, and the dedication to see it though, healing can happen. "I knew well enough that one could fracture one's legs and arms and recover afterward, but I did not know that you could fracture the brain in your head and recover from that too." - Vincent van Gogh ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Any time we are looking to grow, courage is required. Instilling new habits, learning a new skill, setting boundaries, putting yourself out there. It all takes some grit to make it happen. Don’t forget that you can make it happen if you want it ❤️
The decision to change is an inside job. It takes time, and you’ve got to start small, but once you get the hang of it change happens faster and faster. 1% each day has a huge impact on our ability to grow!
Don’t let doubt stop your progress 🙌 Change the narrative, when you think you don’t know how to do the thing, tell yourself “I will learn” “I will change” great mindset advice from @brendonburchard
While guilt and anxiety serve us momentarily, keeping those thoughts on repeat can keep us from growing. Using our mistakes to change behavior, instead of allowing them to paralyze us, is a much more sustainable option. . . . . #growthmindset #growth #goals #growthgoals #letitgo #letsbehuman #humantogether #spreadlove #loveisallyouneed #selfworth #selflove #bepaitientwithyourself #lifegoals #goals #odaat #recoveryispossible #mentalhealthmatters
