Of course I'm prejudiced, but my mom has been special. She passed just two months short of 96. I'm grateful she passed quickly.

Showing my photography this weekend at marketplatz in downtown Fredericksburg.
One of my submissions for Naturescapes--wish it would conjure up a cold front.
Beautiful day today in Wimberley, for Artsfest.
Beautiful 😍
Sunny Sunday on Corpus shoreline (working one of the new sports with the American Co****le League).

Mom’s 94 today.
Went black and white with my usually more colorful wall at Art on 12 in Wimberley. Mostly a selection from my project Water X Sun. Will be in a show this weekend in Fredericksburg at the “Pavilion” on the square. Gonna be cold.
"Guadalupe River in Gruene" One of my images accepted for the annual Naturescapes exhibit, which will have its reception Sept. 25.
I have a selection of 17 prints on display and for sale at Salon Mystique Gallery in Belterra Village, on Hwy 290 on the way from Dripping Springs into Austin. Get a hairstyle, and buy some wallart.

Looking back on the icestorm we had in February--killed a lot of my plants, but did make for some unusual landscapes.
Working on ACL broadcast today, not Austin City Limits, but American Co****le League, for CBS Sports.

The blue skylight helps to enrich the rusty look of this image of mill silos in Johnson City, TX.
Well weathered turbine from an old mill. I just love rust--one of my favorite subjects. What are your favorite subjects, or the ones that seem most productive of interesting images?
Shooting Xmas special for TxMusic Scene and Steamboat Music Fest.
I like making pretty pictures as much as the next guy, but sometimes a change of pace feels good. This piece that I call "Art Makes Love" isn't conventionally beautiful, but maybe has a tinge of savage beauty. I found it hidden out of the way, sort of an alleyway, where some street artists have left behind their mark.
Playing with a kaleidoscope app—which one do you like?
The 16th annual Naturescapes exhibit is now open, but unfortunately for now it's only online, at http://www.WalkersGallery.org , under "Current Exhibit". Seems the Walker's Gallery in San Marcos may open at some time soon, but for now it's closed. I have several images in the two shows, including "Window in Time" on the show poster.
Walking down the sidewalk, mostly construction behind a long chainlink fence, and then this angel presented herself.
