Our residents participated in a Marian crowning, seeking our Blessed Mother's intercession as we prayed the rosary and partook in holy mass. Let us remember the comforting words of Our Lady of Fatima, "In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph." Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
What a blessing to celebrate the 100th birthday of our beloved, Esther! She’s been a beautiful part ofour assisted living family at Santa Teresita, showing each of us the strength and wisdom that comes with age. God bless her on this special milestone!

The Baker's Dozen at Santa Teresita
We were so excited to sing in the New Year together with The Baker's Dozen, the men’s cappella singing group from Yale University! Thank you to all from Baker’s Dozen who traveled out to CA to perform their comedy and music for our assisted living residents and Carmelite Sisters!
Thank you to the Order of Malta for bringing us drinks and desserts for our monthly Vespers and Vino, while the Sisters and our resident, Joy, provided the musical entertainment!

As we enter into Holy Week, residents, Sisters, and volunteers came together to pray the Stations of the Cross together. These Stations were especially beautiful as the reflections were created with our residents!
Happy feast of St. Claude de la Colombiere! The eve of this feast last year, Sister Maria Elia shared how special it was for the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles to witness the miracle healing of Fr. John Houle, S.J. that happened at Santa Teresita's hosptial on February 22, 1990 that that helped canonize today's saint. St. Claude de la Colombiere, Apostle of the Sacred Heart, pray for us!
