Our residents embarked an epic adventure in our Olympics-themed week at Santa Teresita! The Cottages became a mini-Olympic village, with residents carrying the Olympic torch and engaging in balloon volleyball!
The Duarte Kiawanis club honored John Fasana as Community Angel 2024. John, a dedicated community servant and friend, how deserving of this honor! It was a joy to host the local San Gabriel community and Kiawanis club at Madonna Hall in our campus. Prayers always for you John and your family!
Today, we rejoice and celebrate Santa Teresita's 94th anniversary! Each day, we're humbled to serve in healthcare, following the footsteps of our foundress, Mother Luisita, who began Santa Teresita in 1930. We're grateful for the blessings that have grown and transformed our 12-acre campus over the years, and the lives we have the privilege to encounter.
Our residents enjoyed a special visit from three "Santa Teresita pilgrims" who embarked on a touching "94-mile pilgrimage" to Cristo Rey and Good Shepherd Cottages, praying to St. Therese of Lisieux to intercede in our enduring mission!
United with those who attended the National Eucharistic Revival Congress in Indianapolis, we at Santa Teresita encountered the greatest gift ever given - Jesus in the Eucharist! We have been offering our daily prayers, rosaries, and Holy Communion for the bishops, priests, religious, and lay faithful at the Congress all week!

Santa Teresita took part in watching the opening ceremony of the National Eucharistic Revival Congress, currently happening in Indianapolis! We are praying for everyone attending the Congress, including our staff and the Carmelite Sister attending!

What an outstanding adventure we had at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum! We delved deep into history, exploring the fascinating life and presidency of Ronald Reagan.
We're thrilled that two of our Carmelite Sisters could attend the Vita Institute at the de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture in the University of Notre Dame! This program is an intellectual formation for leaders in the national and international pro-life movement, to further enhance their knowledge and skills to serve in our services to care for the whole person.
Overflowing with gratitude, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all who united with us for our Sacred Heart Celebration at Santa Teresita! We are also thankful for the joyful presence of two newly ordained priests from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Fr. Lucio Trinidad and Fr. Miguel Cabrera.

Our Wednesday Walking Club enjoying the cool shade of the magnificent oak tree that has been on our 12-acre campus for over 90 years!
Our assisted living residents enjoyed a wonderful meal together at Clearman's North Woods Inn. It was a day filled with laughter, fellowship, and delicious food!
On Memorial Day, we at Santa Tersita offer our prayers and gratitude for the brave souls who gave their lives for our country. Let's ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten, and honor those who have served!
Our residents recently enjoyed a delightful day out, touring our local city Monrovia and attended a beautiful flower offering for our Blessed Mother at Casa Convent!
