It's been a minute, but it is nice to spend time with some seniors every now and again.

When a senior has all the confidence in the world and has no trouble showing it, they're going to do great things.

Also, who says you can't use a 600mm lens for portraits 😁

I love it when seniors bring their activities into their senior picture plan, especially when it's something they're extra proud of. Tyler has no trouble showing his Air Force ROTC pride.

When you get an email from a client that says "He saw some pictures online of the student sitting on or near an old car/truck. Would you even know of anyplace like this?"

As a matter of fact... yes.

There are sill some openings for Senior Sessions in October and November (November might be my favorite month for these)

And because I am getting this question a lot... Yes. I am still doing Senior and Family Sessions 😀

It's become a tradition that anytime a senior shows up to a session wearing Chucks, this pose has to happen 😃

I've been out of town for a few days, but have been excited to get back and dive into Kristen & Greg's wedding portraits! I have to say, the amount of great locations that we packed into a few hours might be a new record for awesomeness.

There's nothing that makes a photographer feel better than an engaged couple who need zero direction when it comes to posing in ways that show their love for each other.

Just a reminder that Family and Senior Sessions are definitely available. But it's up to you to decide who you choose to include in your portrait, I'm just there to make the photos. 😁

Once again, I've been so fortunate this year with getting to work some of the best seniors there are. These kids make my work fun and easy! :-)

I’ve only been to one other wedding at Camp Akita and that was my own 😄. No one could’ve asked for a better weekend or a better place to be. Congrats to Eric and Alex!

I'm often asked about whether or not to bring props to senior photo sessions. Does this answer that?

Maybe it's the storytelling or maybe it's the timelessness of the game, but there's something about baseball that sometimes requires a dose of B&W.

Greetings Friends! And Happy New Year!
First and foremost, I want to thank each and every one of you for your support, encouragement and of course, your business over the past year… and all the years prior! You have all been so integral in my photographic journey and when I look back on each and every session, wedding or any interaction that I’ve had with you, it makes me smile. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the most kind and gracious people I’ve ever met and for that, I am thankful. But in every persons’ life journey, there comes a time when change is needed. For me, that time is approaching. I am here to announce that this year will be my final year as a portrait/wedding photographer. This change isn’t something that I have taken or will take lightly, which is why I am allocating the entire year to make this change.

YES – All current bookings for 2020 will stay in place and no changes will be made.
YES – I am still taking bookings for 2020, HOWEVER I am only taking new bookings until June 1st.
YES – I will retain all of the existing galleries and they will be available until Dec 31st, 2020

Am I done being a photographer? No way! It’s a part of who I am, and I don’t want that to ever change. But what I do want to gain from this change is more time with my family while exploring new exciting photographic experiences. There will be more to come on this front, so do stay tuned over the next few months for more about where I’m going next!

2019 is almost in the books and it's time to look a lot harder at 2020!

I had a great time working with Pete and his family during his senior session! Sportraits are, admittedly, a favorite of mine.

Congrats to Janice and Matt! Great wedding, fantastic venue and the best people you could imagine! Seems like yesterday when we spent the afternoon in Yellow Springs for your engagement session.

Day couldn’t have been better for an engagement session!

I was so very excited to photograph Melinda's & Jamie's wedding at The Grand Barn at The Mohicans yesterday! I mean, wow that a wedding!

Just a quick update since I've been quiet for a while. The reason is that I was on the best vacation ever with my family, traveling the Southwest. After a busy wedding June and going into a busy wedding July, I had to slip a couple of weeks of recharge time in there and boy did that work!

Congratulations to Lindsey and Bradley on, as they state it, "The best day of our lives!". What a great day it was!

I am SO stinkin happy for these two! Shera and Courtney are two of the most incredible humans I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, knowing and calling friends. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness, and then some!
