Our Story

Empire Travel began in 1984 in Webster. It was originally Webster Travel. I began my journey with Empire Travel in 1989. I took a $3 an hour pay cut to move 2 shops over. That’s the beginning. I was trained on our airline system, faxed and made lots of phone calls. Our business has changed so much, I love the quote “the only constant is change”. So here I am, 31 years later but in Dudley (we moved here 11 years ago). In the past 5 years our staff has tripled. We work as a team to give our clients the best service possible. We do in office training with tour companies, host clients nights on destinations and learn learn learn, always learning! In the past few years we have traveled to Iceland, Alaska, Hawaii, Germany, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Panama, Caribbean, Mexico, California, UK, France and of course trips to Universal Studios, Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris and Disneyland California. Many cruises, river cruises and weekend getaways.

Can you book your own trip? Why yes, you can. We’re not order takers here at Empire Travel in beautiful downtown Dudley! We will always give you an honest answer, even if it’s not what you want to hear. However, we listen. Do we ever! We want to work with you to get the best possible vacation for your family in your budget, considering your needs and travel time frame. My staff and I have the same philosophy. We have age, experience and many many years of navigating the chaos that is travel.
