Today I had the sweetest girl in my chair, with THE most gorgeous head of virgin hair. When she said “I’ve never had my hair colored before,” I felt an extreme jolt of excitement.. this doesn’t happen often. 🥳
She just wanted to break up her natural hair with some low maintenance dimension so we did a partial balayage for her first time!

That natural sunlight on the deck was hitting just perfect at the end of her appointment… 😍😮‍💨

When I was shown inspo pics today, I was more than excited to get started. I couldn’t wait to mix up a custom copper, because most of the time… the best colors don’t come from just one tube/bottle. 😉🎨🖌️

Once upon a time, it was just Hayes. I gave him his first haircut, and then he thought he couldn’t see me anymore because he found out I was a Packer fan… 🤣🥹 NOW HE’S IN 3RD GRADE!
Mila is heading to kindergarten, loves getting her hair done, DOING hair, and country music.. 🤗💕 my kind of girl.
Kenzie.. will be getting her first haircut soon but is NO stranger to coming to the salon. She sings, dances, rolls around the floor.. makes herself at home really.. and it makes my day every single time. ☺️💕

Birthday girl came in to get her hair done before school, and I always love my appointments with her because she is so wise beyond her age. She is the sweetest 12 (what?!) year old I know. I’ve been doing her hair since she was just a little one! Some blonde foils, and PINK was her choice for 7th grade 🥳

… and again, I find myself asking.. WHERE DOES THE TIME GO?!

I might be just their hairstylist, but I may or may not get emotional here and there watching these kids grow up! 🥹

Carli has been asking me to be strawberry blonde for quite a while- HOWEVER she knew she would be getting married so I said maybe we should wait until after your wedding. She’s been icy blonde for forever but now that the wedding is done… she’s got her strawberry hair 🍓✨☀️

Circa 1996. Little Katie, staring at my mom because she had just gotten her hair done for a wedding. I remember thinking that she looked so pretty, her hair looked so pretty! (Let me remind you this was 1996, the styles were very different)

The sun was in my eyes, but I was smiling as I stared at her because I knew that someday, I wanted to make everyone’s hair look pretty.
