Organic orbs of frothy fluff that offer a bit of unexpected “Pixie.”

Every season, you wait for different blooms… April brings my sweet Fritillaria. It has the sway of a hardy tulip, the color of rich earth, and vase longevity. It is a conversation bloom when, at a dinner party, you run out of small talk and chat about the pretty flower arrangement.

Today I work on a mock-up for a larger-scale summer wedding. The selection of specialty blooms sourced for this afternoon might not be available for August. Committing to a stem could potentially be a disappointment if the farms aren't able to provide it. What I can promise is a color story or a feeling… passing on “trust”. Allow me to run wild and create your very own flower story wedding.

Placing orders for large-scale floral installations this week doesn't make the “littles” any less special.

Designing a contemporary floral concept piece:

Dyed coral limonium, cerise gypsophila, and red asparagus fern transition to ice blue, turquoise asparagus fern, and light blue gypsophila with aqua double tulip that will be reflexed to show pretty pinkish stamens. But, what's missing? Something that's “wonka” worthy? Peachy shimmer roses, bright orange roses, two-toned gypsophilia, and dancing, floating poppies.

Sit back on a pretty velvet chair in a calming space, and sip on morning Cava.

Installations are made so easy by the right fabricated frame. This half-arch is always my go-to. It's wrapped with florist wire, foraged grape vines, and then the first layer of stems. This one had holex painted oak leaves ( thank you to & Emily for fluffing and cutting three bunches) next to a bucket full of fresh magnolia tips, and lastly, the smaller bits with the added froth of white, green asparagus fern. It's all-natural. It has its own opinion of how to sway. It is completely easy to move around a venue, and if your budget allows, a pair... Is better.
Brides this a super statement piece.

Knowing your strengths, desires and saying, “Hmmm… no, not my aesthetic,” is a cool place to have grown into.
