Thank you Administrators, Teachers, Support Staff, Parents, Family Members, and Students for supporting our Coleman PTA through your donations and volunteer time! You all are the reason for our success in supporting the needs of Coleman Middle School.

We also thank our 2023-2024 Coleman PTA Executive Board for their last two years of service. Five out of seven of our Executive Board Members are completing their two year terms. According to the Georgia PTA By Laws, a PTA Executive Board Member cannot serve more than two years in the same position. co-President Susan Witucki, co-President Jen Ballantine, co-Vice President Holly Williams, Secretary Cathy Purdy, and Treasurer Chris Bailey will be finishing their terms and exiting the Board. These ladies are extremely talented, offered so much to the Coleman community, and will be greatly missed. They are grateful for the absolute honor and privilege of serving the Coleman Community. Field Day Volunteers Needed Wednesday May 22nd 2024- Just a little over a week away!

We need extra chaperones on the field. It's the last day of the school year and the weather is looking perfect!

We will need help on the field to make sure equipment does not run away or go over the fence, someone to help maintain the water relay area and help out with tug-o-war etc..

Extra hands would also be beneficial for rotating from station to station, so they stay on time and everything goes smoothly. Field Day is an all day event so you can come for an hour or stay all day!

THANK YOU, Coleman Families, for supporting our Last of the Year Spirit Night at Menchies Frozen Yogurt:
Our Menchies Spirit Night was a huge success! The owners of Menchies just informed us that they are giving our Coleman PTA 67% of the night's profits earned from Coleman Families. The total sales for the night was $374.24, and they are cutting us a check for $250! Most restaurants only give us 10% of the profits, so 67% is over and beyond generous! We encourage our Coleman Families and Staff to continue giving Menchies your loyal business. Or better yet, consider Menchies for your future large group event planning! The Teacher Appreciation Cookout was a huge success! The teachers and staff loved all the food and drinks donated by our parents. We especially thank those parents who sacrificed their time to monitor the student lunches so teachers could enjoy a duty free lunch during the Cookout.

And most of all, thank you teachers and staff for your hard work and daily sacrifices in providing our students absolute excellence in their education. We so much appreciate the love, care, and expertise you devote to our children.

The 8th Grade Dance called "A Royally Fun Night" is TODAY, Friday, April 26th!
The students who paid for a Dance Ticket will go home at Dismissal to rest, eat a snack, and change clothes into their dressy attire. They will return to school for the beginning of the Dance at 6:00PM. Pick up will be in front of the school at 8:00PM sharp. There will be a live DJ, photo booth, pizza, snacks, drinks, and friends. Students will need no money as all festivities are included in the ticket price. Please email us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Chaperones, please park in any available spot, including the back parking lot along Hill Street or in front of the school along Main Street. Please arrive by 5:45PM to avoid the rush of students entering the Dance and to help with any finishing touches. Every chaperone will need to check in at the Front Office to receive a Badge. Join the Coleman PTA Board for the 2024-2025 School Year!
The Coleman PTA would love for you to join our team! We still have the following open position for next school year: one co-President. If you choose to serve as co-President, you have a strong board of veterans to help you! We successfully secured one co-President, three co-Vice Presidents, one Secretary, and one Treasurer. Each term runs from June 1st through May 31st. The PTA Board meets once each month to plan events and provide volunteer support. Being a part of the PTA Board offers great connections to other parents and opportunities to interact with administrators, teachers, and students.
