Some people are in recovery or they are trying to cut back on drinking. Here are some holiday tips:
1. If a person declines a drink, accept their answer and don't ask again.
2. See if a person drinks before gifting a bottle of wine.
3. If you begin to experience cravings to drink or use, go play with the children or leave.
4. Do not drive anything if you drink any alcoholic beverage or do any drugs.
5. Offer non- alcoholic options.
6. Make sure any foods containing THC are clearly identified. Ask if you are not sure. People that get drug tested for work could lose their job for failing a drug test.
