Congratulations are in order for MASON MATTSON!

On Tuesday evening, May 21st, he earned the rank of Eagle Scout after successfully passing his Eagle Board of Review.

Mason began his journey 12 years ago as a Tiger Scout in 1st grade, joining Cub Scouting as a member of Pack 29.

He has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Mason has represented himself, his family, and Troop 44 with integrity and respect throughout his Scouting journey.

All the best to Mason, a Senior at Duluth Denfeld High School.

Last Thursday, April 4, United States Congressman Pete Stauber (representing citizens of Minnesota 8th District) visited Eagle Scout Mason Johnson at Elim Lutheran Church. The Congressman acknowledged Mason's accomplishment and reflected on the commitment and work ethic required to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.

Congressman Stauber presented Mason a gift from him and his wife Jodi, a US Flag that had flown over the US Capital on behalf of Mason. He also presented him with a "Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition."

Mason joined Cub Scouts as a Tiger in 2013 (Pack 25) and then joined Scouts in 2017 (Troop 25). He passed his Eagle Board of Review on October 17, 2023.

Barnum Pack 169 had their Pinewood Derby on Tuesday.
