I am looking for someone to replace a classic Case xx 1836 Bowie knife handle. The handle on the knife I have is in rough shape and would like to replace it.
Does anyone know of someone who makes replacement handles?
Gotta love eBay. My listing was removed because it violated their safety standards and was deemed as a forbidden item to sell on eBay because it violates their policy on not selling weapons. The item I listed was a replica toy pistol for a 12” action figure. The length of this item is 1 1/4” and its height is 1”. Just very small, non working toy and impossible to even hold that in your hand, let alone use it as a weapon. It is a non working tiny toy, glad eBay is there to keep us all safe.
Let’s just say, my wife is the most understanding, caring and compassionate person on the planet!
This is not how a normal persons house should look (but I have never been accused of being normal) and yet, when you filled two tables at a local auction (Crandall's Auction Service), 5 tables at another local auction (Seller's Auction by Mickey Greene) plus 4 tables for your own sale on Monday night, you end up having to go through totes/boxes to get ready to do it all again next week! Also, truck is full (don’t tell Naomi Jacoby, that may push her over the edge 😂) I am thankful UPS and USPS didn’t deliver any of the boxes I am expecting 😅.I better get back to work organizing or I may be moving into the closet with all this stuff🤷♂️😂🤦♂️🤣
I was finally able to get down and bring in about 5 bins of fresh items for my booth @ Father Time Antiques in Duluth, MN -Canal Park. I am dealer number 18, so if you are in Duluth or have a chance to visit, please come check out our store, there are about 50 different vendors in this clean, organized antique/vintage/ collectibles store! Here are some new pictures, if you see something you like don’t be afraid to message me, I am able to ship(buyer pays shipping) but if it is still available, I can pull items and send them off. Mini rant- How does FedEx stay in business? I have two orders I am expecting, 1 from Alabama and 1 from California, both supposed to be here Tuesday. No update on the status until this morning and now both are scheduled for end of day Thursday. Both orders shipped 7 days ago, the one from CA sat in Nebraska for 5 days and finally made it to IA last night but is still going to take 2 days to get to MN. The one from AL has made is to KY, only took 6 days to make it 10 hours. Then I call to ask what is going on, they send you to someone in Central America to answer questions, what a joke. I will be making sure none of the orders I ship or receive do not use FedEx you g forward!
So I posted parts of myGI Joes, Evel Kneivel and Dukes of Hazzard collections the other day and my mother asked where Six Million Dollar Man was. I just hadn’t dug him out when I took pictures the other day but here he is now. I know I have another box somewhere but I will find the rest!!!!
Some days I just want to throw in the towel. So after years of buying and selling on Facebook, I had to file my first claim against a seller for not shipping what I paid for. Will probably be filing another claim against another seller tomorrow after getting the run around for 4 weeks, paid on December 22, still no product and no tracking for the box that supposedly has most of the order in it. Then I go up to my old office (building remains locked all the time) to go box up all the GI Joes I posted puctires of to bring them home and get them sold, only to find out an employee up there has stolen 24 of them! While I was making that wonderful discovery, Naomi text to say the dryer smells hot and is not working right. So out about $2000 this week and now going to buy a washer/ dryer. Guess I will be ending this short lived retirement and going back to work…
Oh man, I am going down a rabbit hole now, started with the Dukes of Hazzard, moved into Evel Knievel and now GI Joe was feeling left out- so here’s a couple photos of some of the GI Joes I have that will all be sold (as soon as I can bring myself to part with them🤷♂️)
All the boxes stacked are all full with different GI Joes or collector action figures(they are not dolls😂!)
Hi all!
I haven’t posted anything on here for awhile but started taking out some Dukes of Hazzard stuff and decided to do a little video and take some pics. Getting things ready to bring down to the shop (Fathertime Antiques in Duluth MN- canal park) and get them in the toy display case I am putting together.
I will be posting pictures when I get the case set up and I just have to say, there is going to be some really awesome, quality toys for sale. Tin toys, wind ups, pressed steel, games, new old stock items, Marx, Doepke, Buddy L, Tonka, Star Wars, Dukes of Hazzard, He-Man, Marvel, DC, cast iron and more!!!!
Hopefully will have it all set up in a week or two down there, so make sure to come check out dealer #18 in Fathertime Antiques 395 S Lake Ave. Duluth, MN 55802

Well, that work thing has kept me from posting in awhile but just had to share a recent collection of vintage toys I was able to acquire. I love buying toys from my childhood...(or toys I always wanted as a kid, lol)
Wow, wow, wow, it’s not very often I get my hands on items I have never seen before but this week I was able to obtain 10 items I have never come across and can’t find any other examples of. I was able to obtain 9 posters from 1929 and what I believe to be an original 2 sided sign from the 1930’s-1940’s. These will be going up for sale soon in my shop at Fathertime Antiques in Canal Park Duluth MN but feel free to message me if interested!
Well hello all!
I have not posted in awhile, I have been absolutely consumed by my real job but I had a chance to go on a pick this morning and it was the kind of buying that justifies a video!
All the items in the video and the still photos will be for sale and most will end up in my booth at Fathertime Antiques 395 canal park dr in Duluth, MN ( I see I said the wrong address in my video, whoops) but please come check out my stuff, I am dealer number 18.
I hope you enjoy the video, thanks for watching!
Busy, busy, busy gearing up for the summer tourist season at Fathertime Antiques in Duluth’s Canal Park! I have expanded my space and I have just started consolidating my items into one big booth! I will be bringing in a bunch more in this week to fill the extra space up with all kinds of goodies. Please come check our dealer #18 and my new space!
I started going through the boxes I posted pictures of earlier this week. Good reminder that when you are looking through a box of books, make sure you still check the whole box. The locks in the pictures where found at the bottom of a box full of books. That DM & N lock is very rare and was an awesome find. The binoculars say Army & Navy and they are from WW1 made in Paris. The postcards in the book are all pre 1919 and there are about 250 in the book. The jolly monkey (same model of this toy was in one of the Toy Story movies) and works like it is new old stock. These pictures are random items found so far in just a few boxes and there was a truckload and a van load to go through!
This is what you call a tease, just unloaded a full storage unit full of antiques late last night. I haven’t gone through all the boxes and bins yet (because this work thing I do is really taking up all my time right now) but have found some awesome stuff so far. The pictures are what the second truckload looks like ( this is a large cargo sprinter van). There will be more pictures to come with the treasures hiding in the boxes and bins...
A little rain never stops me from picking, especially when I don’t get to get out as often as I would like to! This was all dug out in an out building and outside along the building, ended up soaked head to toe but was still fun. Definitely not the best stuff I have ever bought, but the journey to find treasure in hidden places is what I love! The bucket is embossed GNRY for Great Northern RailWay, nice old coal bucket I am guessing.
My new booth is coming along down at FatherTime Antiques in Duluth’s Canal Park. Have been bringing in lots of new items and will be filling the new display case soon that I put in today. Come down and shop the store, lots of great, unique Father’s Day gifts for the dad who has everything, he will for sure love an item pulled right from his memories and FatherTime Antiques is the place to find it! Update- was able to get a few things in the new display case today.
