“Kasper is a 6th grader whose favorite class is Math. His favorite part of the TPH Academy is getting the opportunity to skate. Kasper (number 27), plays Defense for the 12U Atlanta Phoenix team. His favorite NHL team is the Colorado Avalanche and his favorite snack is Oreos. When Kasper isn’t playing hockey, he likes to play with his friends. When we asked Kasper what animal he would come back as in the next life, he said, “a honey badger because they are cute, but deadly and they are immune to poison”

Selected out of over 750 student-athletes across the United States and Canada, TPH Academy names Marie Colpean of TPH Academy Grand Rapids, Brody McClaine of Acceleration Sports Academy powered by TPH, Keslie Mustacchio of TPH Academy Denver, Mikey Tate of TPH Academy Detroit, and Taylor Van De Ven of TPH London as the 2023-2024 Impact Players of the Year.

Earlier this week, our team in Detroit spent the day giving back! TPH Academy Detroit Student-Athletes and Coaches volunteered at Focus: HOPE to box over 450 boxes of food support. Focus Hope helps serve over 43,000 seniors in the Detroit area!

TPH Atlanta offers a weekly progressive development program on the ice and in the gym that focus on skill development, skating, strength and speed over the spring and summer months. Various professional coaches and instructors will be at the on ice skates and the off ice workouts to offer different perspectives and teaching approaches to the game and in the gym. Brody (number 41), plays Left Wing for the 14U Atlanta Phoenix team. His favorite NHL team is the NY Rangers and his favorite snack is Cheez-Its. When Brody isn’t playing hockey, he likes to play baseball and golf. When we asked Brody what animal he would come back as in the next life, he said, “an eagle because they are the rulers of the sky”

When we asked Taj what animal he would come back as in the next life, he said, “a tiger because there are so few left and they are powerful animals”
