MY LIFE COLLECTION - Launching TODAY at noon CT

Years ago, the old CM had an affiliation with the Alzheimer's Association. The new CM is renewing this affiliation and has produced a set of products to support the Alzheimer's Association and also to provide us with items that we can use to create Memory Albums about family members. We all know that nothing is more powerful than having an album that you can hold and know that you are loved.

Designed to celebrate family and everyone we love, the My Life collection is intended to help you make an 8x8 album. It includes two 8x8 album covers, an 8x8 paper album and stickers. Additionally, you can give the gift of memory by purchasing the My Life Mini Buttons (3/pk) and Digital My Life Kit, for which profits will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.

This cause is one that touches many of us deeply. My mom suffered with lewy body dementia and died at age 66. I remember visiting her in memory care and bringing small albums filled with pictures of her life: her husband, parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, friends and special places and activities she enjoyed. The albums were so important to remind her often how much she was loved and by who. The albums were also so helpful for those who visited her, including caregivers and new friends in my parents' new community who never got to know the vibrant, capable, kind woman she was. They provided an activity and topics to talk about while they visited with her.
