The honor recognizes team members who go above and beyond job descriptions and expectations while supporting other team members and taking care of our patients and customers. Nicholas Limperos, MD, has joined the BayCare Medical Group general surgery office at 1840 Mease Drive, Suite 301, in Safety Harbor, where he sees patients 18 and older. Dr. Limperos is board certified in general surgery and is affiliated with Mease Countryside and Mease Dunedin hospitals. Dr. Limperos prides himself in patient care, demonstrating a commitment to continuing education, remaining cutting edge on surgical technology, and annually ranking among the top in the nation in patient engagement. His passions include minimally invasive and robotic surgery for the treatment of reflux disease, cancer, hernias, and biliary disease. We recently celebrated Health Care Food Service Workers Week. Our Food and Nutrition team makes and serves thousands of meals each week for our patients, visitors and team members. We appreciate all they do to provide delicious and nutritious meal options each day. When we faced the recent hurricanes, the team rallied to ensure everyone in the hospital was well fed. BayCare Provides $300,000 for Community Hurricane Relief 10/16/2024

BayCare announced today it is donating $300,000 to Feeding Tampa Bay, Metropolitan Ministries and the St. Petersburg Free Clinic. All three are existing partners in BayCare’s Community Benefit efforts to impact public health. These hurricane contributions are in addition to Community Benefit investments.
