When Dr. Lesser began dental🦷school, she was among 20 women👩 in her class out of 80 students, and women made up 5% of the dentists practicing in the United States. As of 2023, 37.7% are female! 😱Cheers to women in dentistry!🎉

The Smile Builders Story
Welcome! Thank you for selecting us to treat your child's dental health needs. Our practice is dedicated to providing the highest possible quality of care. Dr. Robyn Lesser began practicing dentistry in 2003 and founded and opened Smile Builders in 2007. She designed the building herself and with the help of a graphics company, created all of the characters in our logo. In the lobby, you can watch an animated movie about brushing and flossing that features all of the characters. Dr. Lesser and her family did all of the voice overs for the movie! You will also find pictures of our characters throughout the office.
Dr. Donna Nichols joined our practice in 2015. She came with 25 years experience as a pediatric dentist. Most recently, Dr. Ashley Tate joined us in 2018. You will find our doctors, front office staff, and dental assistants to be friendly, bubbly, positive, and understanding. Our Smile Builders’ mission is to provide a comfortable, positive experience for every patient and family. You will experience this from check-in to check-out! Who knew going to the dentist could be fun?!
Our office, as well as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, recommends that your child visit the dentist by his/her 1st birthday. We believe if you convey good feelings about dental visits being part of growing up, this will lead to good dental visits for the future! We look forward to seeing you soon!
