Hello Community!
We just completed our Sixth Tap Handle Charity Fundraiser! We have loved working with Good Neighbors! Along with the money our charity raised for them, we hope they have raised more awareness to their cause! They work hard 7 days a week collecting donated food and other items to distribute to their community! We thank them so much for allowing us the opportunity to help feed our community!

Due to the recent devastation from Hurrican Helene in our area, we are dedicating the month of October to raise money for local families in need. We are offering one of our most popular beers, our HOB Cucumber IPA, for our charity tap handle. $2 from EVERY pour will be donated to our neighbors in need. Please come out and have a delicious beer and help your community!

We are also still feeding our community EVERY Saturday with our FREE food giveaway between 10:45-11:00 am under our paviilion. No need to qualify. Everyone is welcome.

Please also reach out if you need any help with your home or to check in on a loved one if you are out of the area. It takes our entire amazing community to help each other out!

Hey, Give-Backers! As we begin the 2024/2025 school year for Pack-A-Snack, we need some more 27 Gallon Black & Yellow Totes. you can find them at Walmart, Lowe’s, Amazon… But they’re only $10 at Home Depot right now.

Pack-A-Snack is a program to help feed disadvantaged children in the greater Dunedin area over the weekend. The school’s faculty (teachers, social workers, etc.) pinpoint the children who frequently may not have adequate food over the weekend. These designated children receive a bag of healthy, pre-packaged snacks each Friday afternoon.

Consider helping by purchasing healthy, pre-packaged, single-serving, ready-to-eat snacks and bring them to the next Snack-A-Pack Packing Event (on the 1st + 3rd Wednesday of the month).

Examples of pre-packaged, ready-to-eat, “healthy” snacks (all single-serving):
JUICE (100% juice in boxes, not pouches)
APPLESAUCE
BEEF JERKY
PEANUT BUTTER OR CHEESE CRACKERS
BREAKFAST BARS
READY-TO-EAT PASTA
GRANOLA BARS
MIXED FRUIT (canned or packaged only, no fresh fruit)
PUDDING
NUTS
RAISINS
TRAIL MIX
FRUIT SNACKS
CHIPS, POPCORN, OR CRACKERS

Because of our faithful Give-Backers, we had a successful rescheduled Packing Event last night! And from what we collected last week and packed last night, over 200 children, dealing with food insecurity within our community, will have food for the weekend! Thank you, Give Backers!!!

We hope to have all our usual packers back for our first Pack-A-Snack Packing Event for the 2024/2025 school year, and we also hope to have a bunch of new Give-Backers!

We are excited to announce and support our next charity Good Neighbors from August 1st-September 30th $2 from every purchase of our HOB Brewing Company Dunedin Organge wheat lager will go directly to this charity! Come out to HOB Brewing Company and drink a beer to support this charity.

Many of you already know our friends at Good Neighbors. The HOB Give Back has partnered with them to be able to provide our free food giveaways every Saturday morning. Without them we would not be able to bring this service to our community. They are always in need of volunteers!

American Parkinson's Disease Association Every day, we provide the support, education, and research that will help everyone impacted by Parkinson’s disease live life to the fullest.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we packed and collected over 500 Pack-A-Snack bags this past week at our last Packing Event of the 2023/2024 school year!!!

Thank you for helping us finish strong this year, and thank you for another fantastic year of Pack-A-Snack. We will resume on the first Wednesday in September! Enjoy your summer!

Please consider dropping some diapers or underwear in our collection bin for Fostering Hope Florida for kids in the foster care system. Donation bin will be located at the ordering window. During our Saturday morning free food giveaway, we will move the bin to our pavilion area. It takes a village!
