After suffering a devastating knee injury 299 days ago against the Scranton Prep Classics in the 2022 PIAA District 2 Class AAAA Girls 🏀 Championship Game in Wilkes-Barre, Ciera Toomey officially checks in for the Dunmore Lady Bucks to begin the second half during their semifinal round game of the 17th annual Lynett Memorial Girls 🏀 Tournament against the Scranton Lady Knights Tuesday afternoon at the Lackawanna College Student Union in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

The Dunmore Bucks advance to the 2022 PIAA District 2 Class AA Championship Game next Friday night against the Lakeland Chiefs at Lakeland High School in Jermyn, Pennsylvania. Nico Ruggiero reached the 1,000-yard milestone late in the fourth quarter to pick up a crucial first down on its way to running the clock out for the Bucks. You can see the milestone run here below. Lorenzo Mitchell has his finest day as a Dunmore Buck wide receiver with three catches for 163 yards and two touchdowns.
