I don’t know about you, but sometimes, I lack confidence in my abilities. For example, I would probably fail if you asked me to dunk a basketball, perfectly play a song by Beethoven on the piano, or even bake the perfect cookie. In the same way, skills like playing a sport, playing an instrument, or baking, require perseverance and endurance that force us to grow; holding fast to our faith and having confidence in God’s power through difficulty will build endurance and strength within us.
In Hebrews, the writer encourages us to hold on to our confidence and trust in God’s power. The writer says that trusting in God’s power will be greatly rewarded with God’s promises. The writer explains that if we try to do God’s will, we will go through hard things that push us. Trying to follow Jesus in this world will be hard, but it will lead us to trust more deeply in God and not give up when difficulties come our way.
How is God building endurance in you today? Bring your challenges to God in prayer, asking God to increase your confidence and faith. Remember, God is for you, guiding you through every challenge and helping build your endurance.

"So do not throw away your confidene; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised."

Yo, check it out! This Wednesday night is our totally awesome TIME WARP Wednesday! All you cool cats in 5th to 12th grade are invited to get in on the action. We’re throwing a rad 90’s themed costume contest, and the best-dressed will snag a sweet prize!

Small groups will be battling it out in some gnarly games, and the winning crew will take home the legendary Golden Otter! We’ll have a killer spread of 90’s snacks, a photo booth for some dope pics, board games, and a bunch of other epic activities.

TIME WARP runs from 6 to 8 PM this Wednesday. Bring a buddy and get ready to have a blast! Don’t miss out, it’s gonna be the bomb!

Here is your weekly rundown.

1. Night of worship tonight 6:30-7:30 in the main auditorium.
2. Friday Night Tailgate! It’s a pink out game, don’t forget! 5-7pm!
3. Non-Bonfire Bonfire weather permitting. 6-8pm, food, fellowship, spooky movie!
4. Time warp Wednesday! Oct 30, we go back to the 90’s come dressed to impress. Best dress will receive a prize! Invite your friends and maybe we will have a gift for you!

Here is our latest weekly resource. These can be a great supplement to your in/at home discipleship. Each week includes a reading plan. Questions you can ask in your car, at the table, or wherever you may be with your child.

These are not the same questions we have on Wednesday, but will always have a tie in. Asking good questions and learing how to think deeply about Faith so important when it comes to us forming and cultivating a deep faith. A deep faith that is our own.

Day 5 – Identity in Christ

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. (Eph. 1:3-4)

Ask God to show Christian students who they are in the eyes of their Father – beloved, created with a purpose and destiny, objects of His continued affection and blessing.

Day 4 - Assurance

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the
Lord, as the waters cover the sea. (Hab. 2:14)

Thank God for the assurance that His purposes will prevail, and He will reach the emerging generations, bringing them salvation, deliverance, healing, freedom, and fullness of Kingdom life.
