Quite often we may find ourselves comparing our life experiences to others and feeling like we're not measuring up. But the truth is, we're all on our own unique journey, and we're all at different stages of that journey.

So if you're feeling like you're not where you "should" be, or like you're not as successful or accomplished as your peers, I want you to remember to meet yourself where you are. Be kind to yourself and have compassion for yourself. It's okay to take things one step at a time and to acknowledge that you're doing the best you can with what you have right now.

Cultivating Wellness Therapeutic & Consulting Services, PLLC., a group private practice in Durham, NC, is looking for psychotherapists to join our practice. We are located in South Durham, conveniently located off of I-40, in between Chapel Hill and Raleigh.

CWTCS is seeking part-time fully licensed mental health professionals with experience working with individuals, couples, and families.

If you are interested in the perks of private practice such as creating your own flexible schedule, and focusing on the client more than billing, then this is the job for you. We want you to focus on what you do best, which is helping our clients improve their mental and emotional wellness. So we will provide the scheduling, billing, a supportive team environment, a comfortable office space, and/or the opportunity to work remote.

Candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance our fun, connected, and positive minded group of clinicians.

Qualifications: Fully licensed LCSW or LCMHC with the state of NC

Experience: Previous experience in mental health counseling/ therapy with emphasis on adults, children, and/or couples. Master’s or Doctorate in relevant field.

Availability: Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate client scheduling needs. Weekends, afternoons and evenings are preferred.

We prefer clinicians that are already paneled with insurance companies, but will work with you to get paneled.

You don’t have to wait until Monday, a fresh month, a new quarter, or New Years to implement change. Small shifts add up over time.

Self-sabotaging is the silent killer that’s keeping us from accomplishing our goals. Self-sabotage does not discriminate. It’s not always something we do consciously. We often self-sabotage as a form of self-preservation. Why we do it differs from person to person but common reasons tend to be to avoid feeling certain emotions, unhealthy coping mechanisms and a lack of self-esteem.

So because we believe these things about ourselves- we end up getting in our own way from doing the things we love or achieving our goals.

All of us, at some point, will come up against it and have to push through our fears and limiting beliefs. But it can be done.⁣⁣

Hope these few tips provided can help you get into the drivers seat of your life so that you can actually start achieving your goals.

CWTCS believes in providing a warm, safe, and supportive environment in which a collaborative approach is utilized to deliver evidence-based treatment to adults, children/adolescents, and families.

CWTCS mission is to educate the community about mental health and to provide quality and compassionate mental health service to children, adolescents, individuals, and families.
