I love the tallow balm so much I’m going to use it to reformulate the Magnesium Butter. This will eliminate a few extra ingredients and make it as close to nature as I can get. I’m starting to remake a lot of the soaps that were donated to get the stock back up. I started with Old Fashioned Pine Tar but it kinda looks like chocolate pudding! 🤣 If you have ANY type of skin problems like psoriasis then this is your soap!

I just wanted to hop on and let you all know that you may find most of the soap items as well as candles low in stock or out of stock for a week or two because there was a need in my state of North Carolina so I donated them. I found a person I trust to get them to people who need the candles for light and the soaps to help clean up and feel human again in the wake of this disaster. Sometimes the small things like a familiar scent can help ease mental stress on top of being functional since they may not have power for weeks or even months. It’s not much since most have lost everything but a clean body and a fresh pair of socks can go a long way. Love ❤️ y’all!

New soap! This will replace the old Mechanic’s Soap with loads of activated charcoal, aloe and pumice stone. It works amazingly to get dirty and greasy hands squeaky clean. Could also be called Gardener’s Soap because it works to get all that stuff out of the ridges in your hands. Scented with Caribbean Teakwood, one of my favorites.

I was aiming for a glossy, black soap. I nailed the glossy but it’s definitely gray! Available after a short cure so keep your eye out if you have a mechanic or gardener in your life! And as always…. Your support of my tiny business means everything to me! ❤️ So thank you!

It’s up!! The Sugar Pine & Patchouli soap is now available on the website. It as all natural colorants including charcoal and turmeric. It also has aloe Vera juice to soothe your skin!

I think the MOST asked question I get about soap making or the soap I make is “Why is handmade soap so expensive?!” So let’s put that into perspective shall we?

Let’s look at the cost of ingredients first. Has anyone priced olive oil recently? Just this ingredient ALONE costs about $50 to make a batch. Then we need about a pound of cocoa butter and a pound of mango butter per batch. That’s close to $30. You get the point. ORGANIC ingredients are EXPENSIVE!

And then we have labor. To make a batch it takes several hours of prep, making and then clean up. And let’s not forget the several YEARS spent fine tuning my recipe to make sure it’s a luxurious experience.

Did I mention each completed batch must cure for a MINIMUM of 4 to 6 WEEKS. (Not days….WEEKS!)

So when you put all these factors together you begin to realize that making natural, organic soap that’s good for your skin is a labor of LOVE! Zero chemicals that you can’t pronounce plus have no IDEA what they are doing to your body!

With all that said I SHOULD be charging $30 per BAR!! But I’m not. I’m just trying to break even and share my passion for not poisoning people through their skin and actually helping some skin conditions.
