It’s finally Move in day… Let’s get it!!!

What God has put together, Let no Man put asunder…
With many lessons learned and as we build character from having to
🙏🏽 sit still and wait
🙏🏽 being patient and waiting until the time was right
🙏🏽 having to lean on Faith
🙏🏽 and trusting in our decisions being in God’s will.
Today is FINALLY MOVE IN DAY!!!!!!🎉🎉💃🏽💃🏽🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏽🙏🏽.
As bad as moving can be, this is one move that we have been looking forward to. We have placed our roots in Downtown and wanted to remain in the vicinity. When we found out Salon Lofts were opening in Downtown Durham, it just seemed like the right move for us. Through many hiccups and setbacks in construction & inspections it is finished and we could not be more EXCITED!!!! (More pics to come after we get settled in)

After 20+ years in the hair industry and with careful consideration, we have decided to relocate the Hair Estate (HE Salon) to the brand new Salon Lofts in Downtown Durham.
Staying in an area that we have grown to “LOVE” and have been fortunate to watch grow tremendously in the past years, we are BLESSED & HAPPY to make this move in the next couple of weeks. By it being a new construction, we do not know the exact opening date but will definitely be in the space and operational before July 1. We will contact each client with upcoming appointments with the specifics.
Thank you so much for your love and support over the years and look forward to serving you in the future.

Although it is bitter sweet, and I am sure we will drive to Parrish St several times out of habit b4 it really sets in, but we are making a change. And change is GOOD! Also change means GROWTH!!!

So blessed to have made it this far. Would like to thank all the clients, friends and family who have supported us throughout the years because you are the reason we have made it this far. We LOVE and APPRECIATE you!!!

Hello Everyone! June 1 is quickly approaching and hopefully nothing will change and we will be able to reopen the salon.
However there will be a few things to consider when visiting us in our “new normal.”
- a face coverings will be required by EVERYONE entering the salon.
- we will not be accepting walk-ins for now
- if you are not feeling well, or show any flu like symptoms such as cough, fever, runny nose, headache, chills, lose of taste or smell etc. please reschedule your appointment.
-please contact your stylist personally to book your appointment for we will be servicing one client at a time.
- when u arrive at the salon the waiting area is closed for now, so please text your stylist to let him/her know you have arrived but please wait in your vehicle for instructions on when you are able to enter the salon.
- again the use of any other protective gear will be left to your discretion but facial coverings are REQUIRED.

COVID-19 UPDATE:
Because the NC State Board has not mandated for a statewide closure of Beauty salons and Barber shops, only certain counties, we WILL open this week. .
However, scheduling will be as such that minimal clients are in the salon at once thus abiding by the less than 10 people in one area.
We will continue to
🔶wash our hands often and after each client.
🔶Also wiping down chairs, door handles and
🔶also doing a midday total cleaning of high traffic areas.
We will continue to keep you updated during this uncertain time.

Hello everyone! We WILL BE OPEN THIS WEEK!!!
Seeing that lots of you are going to be working from home, kids are out of school and there is quite a frenzy with all that is going on with the Coronavirus. We are striving to provide a Clean, Comfortable environment for you to come and receive your hair services.
We are:
- disinfecting our chairs after each client
- as well as the shampoo bowls, dryers, door handles and dryers
- daily thorough cleaning of the salon and bathroom. Which is something we do anyway.
As long as we are able we will be doing everything we can to stay well and safe. Hand washing and sanitizing regularly.
And reminding you that if you are not feeling well, please call and reschedule for your safety and everyone entering in the salon.
