. This part of Poland is famous for its beauty, fresh air, fertile soil and organic food. The North Eastern frontier is widely known as the “green lungs” of Poland and has over a thousand years old, rich tradition of making breads and cakes, that can not be rivaled by any other place in the world. The idea for the bakery originated when two friends got together with the goal of making baked goods from old polish recipes, true to the centuries old taste and tradition. We make our cakes and pastries to order, with the freshest and highest quality ingredients, some of which are imported directly from Poland. Our motivation is to introduce the Triangle Area to European homemade cakes and pastries, the kind you may remember from your childhood as made by your mother or grandmother. We will never sacrifice the integrity of our bakery and our cakes by cutting any corners or by using half measures to make our products. We are consumers just like everyone else and find ourselves disappointed with the taste and lack of quality of many baked goods currently available. We take pride in what we do, and never use any kind of mixes or preservatives and all of our products are made in our state inspected kitchen. We do this because we appreciate the taste of real food that generations of Poles have enjoyed in Europe.
