Being included in World Taiji was a true honor and blessing. .imari has a hosted this annual gathering for internal arts practitioners for several years now. Save the date, last Saturday each April 😄

The gentleness and patience of this group was palpable, it was so moving to see people committed to following the Dao gathered in one place. I have been to many gatherings of practitioners in many places, but this local space will always hold a special place in my heart now.

I know that a lot of my posts and content deal with bringing awareness or discussing spiritual and philosophical topics in groups.

I had an insight yesterday thinking about what a follow up reel would entail. I realized that I didn't actually propose anything about what YOU can do!

Before I start make regular content like that, this is a reflection on why I haven't and a disclaimer.

Even as a spiritual mentor, I prefer one on one work with people and to help them be aware of how their inner landscape functions, and find the tools that suit them. As such I generally avoid direct advice and telling people what to do. I don't like telling people what to do, as a clear result of not liking it myself my whole life. This is even more so for telling the general public what I think as I prefer personalized solutions.

Clearly I've had issues with authority my whole life 🤣and I'm now realizing that extends to being an authority. Yet I suppose as someone who plans to write a book to guide people in general, it's time to start building that bridge.

So for all my future and current content in all formats here is my disclaimer:

My authority stems from my lived experience, personal studies, and diligent discipline in the internal arts. I do not claim to have the end all be all to any issue, nor do I consider myself a master or expert on any topic. I share in the hopes that my perspective is considered and reflected on—not taken at face value. I do this after respecting that on my path I have also watched countless videos and mentors and it's been my responsibility to integrate what is useful and discard the rest through discernment.

TLDR: Take what I say with a grain of salt and a chaser of lemon juice.

One of my favorite places to be... Southwind Retreat Center! The people are what made the magic this weekend, held space for a wonderful gathering of souls! The Genuine kindness and depth of listening blew me away. So fortunate to be alive!

Nothing like the New Moon and Spring energies combined for a burst of growth and activity! I suppose it's been over a year since that seed was planted to be seen more and put myself out there, so I've really learned the patience of the time some things take. Now the ideas for videos are coming faster than I can shoot them it seems!
