Green velvet couch. This velvet was a bear to work with. But the end result was beautiful.

From green trees and a weird ass skirt to a beautiful light linen blue with a tailored skirt.

Delivered this beautiful couch today. The old material was outdated and had a waterfall skirt. (You can’t see it because it was on the back).
This new material is a beautiful chenille. A Very special shout out to Conor, who helped move the couch with me.

Here is a cutie settee. Client said her daughter began to stick toys in the rip on the seat. Lol. No longer.

I got this off a free stuff site! It was badly cat scratched. Love the transformation. I even painted the legs.

I have done many chairs like this, but it’s always a challenge with velvet. (You probably need to keep a lint brush close by).

H2sew goes RVing! Reupholstering onsite is never easy. I did this couch in sections. Some sections I did in my shop, but the arms I did onsite. Enjoy, Alex and Jeff! Have fun traveling.

I have always been into puzzles. My Gram would visit for weeks at a time, she would open up a puzzle
and lay it out on our dining room
Table.
This electric recliner was a real puzzle. A real head scratcher. Thank goodness I always write on the old chair fabric as I go along.

Love this transformation. The seat was totally blown out. With some new foam, it looks like new.

Been busy these months…

Feeling less stressed.

Took me about 5 hours to make. In college I could do this is a couple hours. My brain hurts. Lol. A cute dress for my clients granddaughter. I hope she likes it.

Excuse me while I break out in hives. Lol. I have not made clothes in like 14 years!
Client tricked me! I was thinking I was going to make table cloths for an event. She comes to my door with this!
Yes, I have a degree in Costume Design. But that was a lifetime ago. I will post more about this project.

Issues with space….

This floral print may look pretty, but it’s so dry rotted. Client wanted to change out the floral to a soft baby blue. And we opted to remove the skirt to make it look more modern.

I love antique chairs.

Patterns are my favorite thing. (Kinda).

I absolutely love reupholstering wingbacks. I have done about 100. Maybe more.
