Big Discount Liquor-Burnsville is hosting an event for those interested in allocated bourbon. That’s right, get ready for a not-so traditional Bourbon Raffle! This event will be held on March 18th at 12:00pm.
Big Discount Liquor will post 4 clues. Each clue will help locate a claim for one of four allocated bourbon bottles. (Please note…this will only be a claim to make a purchase of one of the four.) Each clues will signify which claim resides at the park in question, along with the retail price of each bottle. The event will be held within Burnsville city limits. Tell your friends and fellow bourbon hunters!

Congratulations again to our 2023 Booze Clues hunt winners. Mike Nowak, Steven Sanftner, and Ed Brodie. The medallion was found at Lebanon Hills Regional Park on Friday, October 6th around noon. It was found just after the release of clue 6 of 8.

The Goonies themed hunt led them on a journey along the Voyageur Trek Trail in Lebanon Hill's. Each clue indicated a stop along the way. At each clue location there was a bonus find with a small prize pack. The bonuses also contained a QR code giving the individual part of our treasure map, and a picture of the final resting place. The bonuses all contained trading cards from the 1985 Topps Goonie movie collection. In addition to the bonuses there were also about 100 gold doubloons lining the Voyageur Trail from start to finish.

List of where each bonus and the medallion were hidden:
Clue 1-The docks at the Visitor Center. Found by Kim Browning.
Clue 2-Near a sign (slow down) along the Discovery Trail at the beginning of the Voyageur Trail. Found by Kim Browning.
Clue 3-Near a boulder at the A-Frame shelter. Found by Ben Fischer.
Clue 4-a small pond near the Butwin Camp Road crossing. Found by Tom Lauinger.
Clue 5-A chain swing on north side of Lily Pond. Found by Ben Fischer.
Clue 6-Near the end of the Crooked Bridge. Found by Tom Lauinger.
Clue 7-A small patch of apple trees. Found by Ben Fischer.
Clue 8-This is our medallion resting place. It was off the trail at markers #10 and #2. Within a fern patch hidden in the base of a tree. Found by Mike Nowak.

A special thanks to Johannes at TCTREASURE.COM. I really enjoyed working with him. He really has a special ability to add some very cool elements to a hunt.

2023 Booze Clues Hunt

This years Booze Clues hunt returns to Eagan, MN. Ive collaborated with a friend from TCTREASURE.COM for extra special fun! As we will be using his website for clues, I will post links on this page for easy access.

This year our bounty is $200 cash and $100 store credit. So get ready to hunt.

Clues will post at 9am daily starting Sunday, October 1st and run till Sunday, October 8th.

I have some buttons at the Eagan store for anyone that wants one. Free until gone.
