1st Annual Aging & Disability Resource and Wellness Fiesta fun!!!

On behalf of the entire South Texas Development Council Aging and Disability Resource Center and Middle Rio Development Council Area Agency on Aging, I want to extend a warm thank you for attending our “1st Annual Aging and Disability Resource and Wellness Fiesta” on April 21, 2023. STDC is currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill the position of Contract Specialist within the Ryan White Administrative Agency for the South Texas HIV Administrative Service Area (HASA) in the provision of services through contract with area direct service providers within DSHS Public Regions 9, 10 and 11. The position’s core focus will be to develop solicitations, contracts, and amendments. Administer the billing process. Examine budgets, billings, fiscal data and prepare reports for compliance with terms of contract and policies. May travel for required meetings and trainings. This morning at the South Texas Development Council's Board meeting, new officers for the 2022-2023 year were sworn in by Judge Juan Juan Carlos Guerra. Oaths of Office were taken by Commissioner Sandalio Ruiz of Jim Hogg County as Chair, Judge Joe Rathmell of Zapata County as Vice-Chair, and Councilmember Joel Hinojosa of the City of Roma as Secretary Treasurer.

The Board also recognized the hard work and dedication of our outgoing Chair Cindy Liendo for her service during the 2021-2022 year.
