Progress pics of the Pugio dagger that is in the works.

Pugio dagger I am working on. 5160 spring steel, forged to shape, then ground down a bit, handle is goingnto be layered salted maple, and black micarta. Heat treat temper and hand sanding coming next.

Thought this was a beautiful Pic of the fire in my forge. Then started thinking how nurturing a fire is like nurturing your relationship with Christ, when you first start the fire it may be small and weak, but if you nurture it, your relationship can grow into something strong and hot enough to forge anything you wish.

I meant to share these earlier. But here are some pics from the last show we did.

Latest knife to be completed. Need to shine the blade up a little, but I am loving this cherry wood handle. #

Key chain Kiridashi. Handled with Bethlehem Olive Wood, leather work done my my wife. #

Initial bevel done on this one. Have one in for temper., now on to the hand sanding.

So got these Kiridashi utility knifes done today started putting a handle on one to see how it would look then fate decided I was done in the shop for the day. *thappens

Introducing the reflection series of crosses, as before each cross will have imperfections, but when you see your reflection in the cross reflect on what Jesus died for, he died for you.

2 Corinthians 3:18: “But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit.”

The imperfections cross collection. Each cross will have its flaws as we all have our flaws, for there is no perfect person but the one on high so why should a cross be perfect.

More crosses to come.

First fire in the new forge, found some thing s I need to tweak but damn does she get hot quick.

Hand made iron crosses. Each cross will have slight imperfections symbolizing the imperfections of humans, because if there are no perfect humans why should a cross be perfect. The only perfect man hung on one for our sins.
