Happy Friday! I snuck two new designs onto Etsy this morning. Now it's back to banners, logos and signs for the rest of the day.

Although I won't be taking on anymore projects until September, I'll be loading up Etsy with plenty of new designs all summer. Thank you to everyone who dropped suggestions of what you were looking for, it's super helpful!

New designs just hit the shop. Which is your favorite?

Please, please, read! I'm officially not taking on any design based projects from today until September 1st. This includes logos, banners and custom graphics.

Please don't panic if you've reached out recently and haven't officially booked your project yet. I will still be working with those who've received quotes but haven't committed yet.

I am still booking limited photography sessions during this time.

Results are in on our third build a logo series! I hope you enjoy this series as much as I do. I've got a full day of banners and print projects ahead but this was definitely a fun way to set the tone for the day.

Finally getting around to sharing that banner design you voted to see for what feels like a couple weeks ago now.

I've put on a handful of jackpot shows and if I have one tip for you, don't skimp when it comes to your banners/awards. Sure those of us paying the bills pay attention to the payouts but your exhibitors are all about the banner. Not only do they care about getting a banner, what they look like matters to them too! They aren't afraid to tell you that either 🤣

Here are a few tips:

• Size matters, seriously... a 1' x 1' banner sounds really cost effective but they are a lot smaller than you think. I encourage everyone I work with to try to keep their smallest banners at least 2' x 1'.

• Don't be afraid to change up your design each year. It keeps exhibitors excited about coming back year after year.

• Need help budgeting for banners? Offer specific sponsor amounts and as a perk, add that sponsors name or logo to the banner.

The WNY Preview Classic is one of my favorite shows to design for, this year's theme is a little wild.

I'm seeing a common theme here 🤔 if I can put a cow in it, you bet I will.

Sadie and I have been literally holding down the couch the last four days as she tries to recover from the nastiest stomach bug to ever hit our house.

I super grateful that my job is flexible enough that I can take the time she needs and fingers crossed she will finally be feeling a lot better soon.

I have no clue what I'll do with these, I drew them all with the only purpose of getting them out of my head. I sure missed drawing on my iPad and I hope this is just the start of more fun ideas.

Honestly I thought I was going to go a completely different direction with this one, but that's the great thing about design.

Getting to create solely for the purpose of creating is giving me life.

Should we do another?

This year I haven't done as many logos as usual, but they have been some of the best designs yet. This design for Back Bay was so much fun, normally I have a clear favorite in a set but the other contenders were just as unique.

I'll be honest I have no idea what to write for a caption...

But they say it's good to show your face on here and I can't let these badass photos from just sit on my phone.

This month has proven to be a doozy but I'm hanging in there. Anyone else feel like this year has just been something else 🥴 and it's only the middle of April.

These guys just needed their own post. Not quite ready to turn them loose on Etsy I think, but if you've been looking to get a logo for your lamb operation I'd love to put them to use!

I know I've said it before but I LOVE that as a designer I get to work with all different design styles. Vintage, Modern, Minimalist, Retro, Western and the list goes on.

I'll be posting another logo poll today since I had so much fun with the last one.

Just another idea living rent free in my head. Do we need versions of all the species? Would definitely make cute shirt or sticker design.
