This Fourth of July feels very different this year! This week, our family dropped off Jacob, my oldest, for six weeks at West Point basic training. He will be a cadet in the Army and has committed to four years at the military academy. I’m full of pride and all of the other emotions that a mom surely would feel during this time. It’s overwhelming- but to see this 20 year old vow to protect the Constitution and our country, I could not be more proud! So God Bless America! Have a safe and healthy 4th of July! when you read this in 6 weeks, know that you have the support of our Hive behind you!

I was thrilled with this drapery treatment! The hardware from the Cube collection is such a showstopper. 1-1/2” square acrylic rods and brackets, rings, and end caps in a satin gold finish create this elegant look. flawless ex*****on of my design with left my clients with a beautiful treatment in their sitting room they can enjoy for years to come.

I love being their mom….. I feel thankful I get to experience the bonds that I have with them. Watching them growing into adults, watching them chase dreams, watching them love and live. I would like to say I am a good mom - but my mom set the bar pretty high! I know when it comes to moms, I was given a gem of one….supporting us every single day, sacrificing things for herself, so we could thrive and loving us so much that at times I’m sure it was painful. She was given an amazing one as well, who showed her that example…so I’m thankful for the long line of amazing women before me in my family. They have taught me what it is to love these kids and be the kind of mom I am today…. P.S.: I can’t wait to be a grandma one day!! I feel like that’s an easier job, lol. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. It’s not easy, but man I’m thankful for the blessing!
