Issac Corder followed up his message about worship this morning by leading the congregation in one of his original songs, ‘Salvation Soldier’. It is one of our faves!

Hey everyone! Just a reminder that our February memory verse is Romans 6:23- "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

The February memory verse for Children's Church is 1 John 4:19- "We love because he first loved us."

Take a little time each day to work on these verses!

New speaker this week!
Join us tomorrow at 10AM to hear a message from Jeremy Compton on “the desert” of our spiritual lives. How do we end up there? How do we get out? Jeremy explores multiple accounts of experiences in the physical desert in the Bible as he explores this topic.

This morning in Children's Church Maddie and Ace were "wrapped in sin"! All the kids talked about ways you can break free from sin. They also learned about forgiveness of sins and learning from our sin! Take some time today to talk to your kids about what they learned this morning.

Unfortunately The Oaks will not have a church service tomorrow due to a high volume of flu cases in the church leadership and congregation. We encourage you to have a devotional time at home with your family. We pray that everyone recovers quickly!

Come join us this morning at 10:00 at the EBISD cafeteria to celebrate the birth of our Savior!!!

Due to unforeseen scheduling, we regret to inform you that the Community Christmas Concert scheduled for tomorrow evening (12/20) has been Canceled.

We hope to plan further in advance next year so that there are fewer conflicts and the community as a whole can come together and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ!

Come support The Oaks band, "The Acorns" and celebrate Christmas with our East Bernard Community! They will be getting together with other talented musicians from EB to sing some Christmas songs for us and bring some holiday cheer! See you Wednesday at the EBJH Gym at 7pm.

Reminder: There will be no church service on Sunday, December 17th. In lieu of church, we are making meals for EB Care as a service project. Come help us hand out meals tomorrow morning at 8am at EB Care!

EB Care Service Project: 78 🥘 meals made this evening! We will be distributing them tomorrow morning 💥 at EB Care starting at 8am ☕. See you there!

Update on the EB Care service project:
We will be meeting at 514 Pietzsch Street on Friday, December 15th to prepare spaghetti dinners. Come anytime after 5pm to help us cook and assemble meals for 70 families!! Bring a few utensils to scoop sauce and noodles, we will have everything else!

We will meet again Saturday morning, December 16th, at 7:30am at EB Care to distribute the meals. EB Care is located at the corner of Urbanec and Morris in the brick building.

Come on Friday, Saturday, or both days!

⭐️New Update⭐️: Lineup on Fitzgerald St. at 5:30pm. Judging at 6:00pm and parade starts at 7pm! We are #11 in line. See y'all there!

We will let you know exactly where and what time to line up for the parade as soon as we are assigned a spot! Our float is ready and we can't wait to see you on Thursday!
