🐝 Lantana lovers understand why bees can’t resist their bright, clumping blooms. Lantana is a hot summer-loving annual perfect for mixed containers or a standalone plant and there are so many interesting varieties to choose from. It’s also a nectar filled favorite for bees, hummingbirds, and other pollinators! 🐝 If you see a bee on the ground laying still, it may be resting because it’s lacking energy. Help out our small friend by safely and gently carrying it over to the nearest flower so it can regain some energy. If there aren’t any flowers nearby, mix one tablespoon of water and two tablespoons white sugar to offer - never force it to drink.
