Our Kirsten and Joe Borgstrom secret shopped our newest client, City of Fennville yesterday as part of their Economic Development and Community Marketing Strategies. They found a charming town with restaurants, a downtown grocery store, pharmacy and gift shop, and a hardware store serving a rural community of nearly 1,800 people! A real “old fashioned” functional downtown serving its residents with potential to do and be more.

Our Joe Borgstrom was in Mississippi this week working with the Mississippi Main Street Association, Cleveland Main Street, and the Tunica Main Street Association on Real Estate Game Plans. These game plans help connect market data to available properties and help property owners to understand how they can maximize their properties.

A Tourism Strategic Plan identifies the tools and investments needed to strengthen a community’s tourism industry while providing direction on how to engage new and traditional visitors to the area in ways that compliment and doesn’t overwhelm the community. We believe in strengthening a community’s quality of life for its residents in order to create authentic places and experiences visitors also enjoy.

Our Joe Borgstrom was in Jackson, MS yesterday to help unveil the John R. Lynch Corridor Long Range Plan for Jackson State University. We were honored to be part of a great team helping this outstanding HBCU, led by Mississippi Heritage Trust and including longtime friends and colleagues Tripp Muldrow, Randy L. Wilson, Jermaine R. Ruffin, Andy Kalback, and Lolly Rash. Our Joe Borgstrom is in City of Buchanan, Michigan this week working on a real estate redevelopment plan with Cornerstone Alliance. Yesterday, they toured the community as well as several properties and conducted a successful walking visioning tour with several vacant properties.

We are proud to have worked with Gulfport Main Street Association as part of the Real Estate Game Plan with Mississippi Main Street Association. One of our recommendations was to conduct a "fam tour" of the various opportunities with real estate professionals, entrepreneurs, and other key stakeholder. We are so glad they took these recommendations to heart and putting on what looks like what will be a fantastic tour! Congrats, Gulfport Main Street!

Gulfport Main Street Association along with our partners Mississippi Power, Coast Transit Authority and City of Gulfport - Mayor's Office are excited to be able to bring the first Commercial Development Possibilities Tour to Downtown Gulfport! Our Joe Borgstrom has been in this week working on a team with , , and on their Downtown Road Map. One of the treasures of downtown Hattiesburg is the Pocket Museum. It is an alley filled with art, whimsy, humor, and a thousand things you didn’t notice on your previous trips.
