We're happy to have attended the third annual Cape Cod Housing Summit this past month, alongside 300+ guests including local officials, community advocates, and other business leaders.

The summit focused on ways Cape Cod can implement key elements of the historic Affordable Homes Act signed this summer by Gov. Maura Healey, including the Seasonal Communities Designation and the loosened restrictions on constructing accessory dwelling units.

Construction is progressing smoothly at The Aurora Apartments, an 85-unit SRO housing community in Worcester, Massachusetts. This project renovates the existing apartments, improving accessibility, common spaces, amenities, and infrastructure. Follow for more updates!

New housing among redevelopment projects for Springfield’s South End City leaders and others gathered on Morris Street to celebrate continued growth opportunities for Springfield and people who live there.

We're proud to sponsor this wonderful fundraising effort put forth by the Down Syndrome Resource Group of Western Mass. This annual buddy walk will be taking place this Saturday, Oct 5th, in Westfield. No prior registration required - registration begins at 10am Saturday, with the walk beginning at 11am.

Buddy Walk | Annual Walk to Raise Awareness and Funds for Down Syndrome The Buddy Walk program is supported nationally by NDSS and organized at the local level by parent support groups, schools and other organizations and individuals.

Looking back to a project we loved working on with The Community Builders and the Holyoke Housing Authority, the rehabilitation of Lyman Terrace, a public housing family property located in downtown Holyoke.🏡This aging property was one of the country's oldest public housing developments and was facing demolition, prior to the rehabilitation.

ICYMI, you can watch the ribbon cutting for the Gemini town homes in Springfield, MA, on Mass Appeal on WWLP! The site of the Gemini town homes was once the Gemini factory which was destroyed in a massive fire in 1999. The factory was left vacant and now is home to 40 single-family homes.

Did you know? Before it was a federal holiday, Labor Day was recognized by labor activists and individual states. Massachusetts, along with Colorado, New Jersey and New York, passed laws creating a Labor Day holiday in 1887. It wasn't until June 28th, 1894, that Congress passed an act making the first Monday in September of each year a legal holiday.

Labor Day is meant to celebrate the social and economic achievements of all workers. Today, we celebrate and recognize all of the workers that keep our firm and economy going. We appreciate each and every one of you on the AEL team and your families for your support and dedication. Our office is closed in observance of Labor Day and we hope that our team will enjoy much needed rest, relaxation, and time with their loved ones.
