Our Story

Founded in 2015, Prime Home Health and Companion Care has quickly grown to be one of the top choices for home care in western and central Massachusetts. It all starts with a philosophy of service that seeks to treat every client like a VIP while striving to improve comfort, convenience, and quality of life.

Then we have our staff. Offering both skilled nursing and home care aides, we can provide a broader spectrum of services from companions, to homemakers, to personal care, to medication management and administration and other nursing services. What’s more, our aides are well qualified to help our clients. They have all received formal training in personal care and senior health. Each has passed background checks, reference checks, knowledge tests, and skills tests conducted by a registered nurse. Finally, all of our aides complete continuing education every year.

Then we have more comprehensive services. Whether you want at-home aide support a few hours per week or 24 hours per day, we’ll be there. Prime works mornings, days, nights, holidays, and weekends. We also work in-home and out. In addition to the usual in-home of services such as meal prep, cleaning, making beds, medication reminders, mobility assistance, etc, Prime works outside the home. We provide transportation assistance, travel companions, hospital attendants, errands, shopping, and more.

Finally, we have the agency itself. Prime is a member of of the National Association for Homecare and Hospice. We maintain state licensure, Better Business Bureau accreditation, and HCA accreditation. We are bonded and insured. Prime not only stands apart as the agency that’s better prepared to serve your home care needs; we are also the agency you can trust.
