Just received an e-mail letting us know that one of our Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes has been delivered to Suriname, a country in South America. Please continue to keep all the children and families that will be blessed by these shoe boxes in your prayers!

In the 2011-2012 season, 7,200 shoe box gifts will be delivered to children in Suriname, which first received the gifts in 1997. Since then, 49,860 children in Suriname have received a shoe box gift.

Join us this Sunday at 9:00 during the service at the East Meadow United Methodist Church for the Sunday School's Christmas Pageant! The kids have been working hard to prepare for it. Then join us for coffee hour and a visit from Santa :)

Dropped of 16 shoe boxes filled with toys, school supplies and hygiene items from the East Meadow United Methodist Church for Operation Christmas Child! This was an amazing outreach project especially for the children involved in packing the boxes. Thank you to all that supported this project through your prayers and donations.

The Sunday School is very excited to be participating in Operation Christmas Child this year. Visit their site to find out more about this amazing project. We will be collecting boxes/items or monetary donations on Sunday November 13th so that we can pack them and bring them to the drop of location. We can't wait to see where all of our boxes go to!!

Our Back to Sunday School Party ~ The kids of all ages had fun painting sun catchers, playing games and having an Egg Race. We sang songs and had some yummy Pizza and Cupcakes and Brownies for Dessert!
