We’re so happy to shine the spotlight on Frank, a dedicated Food Closet Associate at EHP. Born and raised in EPA, Frank has a deep connection with the community and a unique perspective on the impact of EHP’s mission.

“EHP made holidays possible for my family during those hard times growing up.” Frank shares. His lifelong interactions with EHP has not only shaped him into the person he is today but has also inspired his commitment to giving back to the community.

Franks dedication extends beyond his role in the food closet. He was honored with the first Employee of the Quarter award for, recognizing his outstanding work ethic and embodying EHP’s spirit of kindness and goodwill.🏆👏🏽

A big thank you to our partners like for the plant donations and our amazing Garden Gang volunteers, like May, for their generous donations and hard work! Some of the tomato plants will flourish in our garden, and others have found new homes with our clients. 💚

Congratulations to Q (Quinntiaya) on receiving the President's Volunteer Service Award, which was presented by the Youth Community Service and the City of East Palo Alto - Government. Q has been a volunteer at EHP since she was in middle school and she'll be off to San Jose State University this fall. Q also won a scholarship from the Bay Area Tejanos. Way to Go, Q!! , , , ,

🎉 Over the past month, we’ve hosted not one, but two fantastic vaccination events with , where hundreds of our furry friends recieved their essential vaccinations! Thanks to everyone who came out to support and to PAWS for making these days possible. 🐶🐱

PAWS is dedicated to ensuring that pets of any home, regardless of income, recieve the care they need. We are thrilled to collaborate with an organization that places such a strong emphasis on community health and pet welfare.

Our Children's Food Project, Fuel for Kids, is booming, thanks to the Rotary Club of Menlo Park and the Rotary Club of Palo Alto, who are funding our program this year and to our volunteers who put together these packs! These special meal and snack bags are now available year-round during our regular food distribution, Monday - Thursday. , , ,

EHP celebrated Earth Day with a special giveaway of succulents. Over 100 succulents cuttings were donated by May C. and then potted by May and EHP staff members. Let's all do our part to save our planet by remembering to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. , , ,

Today, we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on an incredible member of our team, Lene! A proud Pacific Islander from EPA, Lena has been with EHP since 2016.

Lene recently achieved a fantastic milestone by in gaining her forklift certification, enhancing our operational capabilities and helping us serve our community more effectively. 🚜💪 But that’s not all! Lene also plays a crucial role in fostering partnerships, like the wonderful Cake4Kids program, which brings joy to the children we serve. 🎂🎉

Working here has taught her patience and appreciation, values she embodies every day. Lene ensures every client feels loved and that we meet their needs as best as we can.
