**25th Anniversary event POSTPONED**
Dear 49ers Academy Family:
Out of an abundance of caution, the 49ers Academy and the Ravenswood School District have made the difficult decision to postpone the Academy's 25th Anniversary celebration scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at Costano school.
The team at RCSD and the 49ers Academy learned of recent threats made in the larger community specific to middle and high school students. We take all threats seriously. Our priority is keeping each and everyone of our students safe before, during and after school.
We sincerely regret the short notice of the news of the postponement of tomorrow's event and assure you that it will be rescheduled for a time in the near future!
If you have any clarifying questions regarding this decision, please feel free to contact the 49ers Academy office at 650-650) 538-5252.
We wish everyone a healthy and safe summer and look forward to celebrating with you soon!
Warmly,
Your 49ers Academy Staff
Happy Pride Month! 🌈
In celebration of AAPI Heritage Month, we had the chance to chat with Lupe, one of our amazing High School Program seniors, about her impact in the community. Over the Summer, Lupe supported One East Palo Alto to get 98% of Pacific Islanders vaccinated 👏
Lupe shares, “It was nice to be there because when people saw a worker that looked like them, they became more comfortable. There is not much awareness of Polynesians that work in the healthcare system. When I see someone that looks like me, it makes me feel more confident too.”
Lupe is such an inspiration to us! We are so excited to see where her path takes her upon graduating next week! ❤️🙌
Hey Alumni! We are having an alumni reunion barbecue celebration on June 16. We would love to see you there! It is free to attend and we encourage you to bring your family. :-) Register below.

Our Story
The 49ers Academy provides adolescent students with a community of support that empowers them to be engaged in school, to reach their full potential, and achieve academic and personal success in middle school, high school and beyond.
The San Francisco 49ers Academy works in schools full time to remove barriers by building one-on-one relationships that empower students to stay in school and succeed in life.
Because we’re in schools all day – every day, we see the unique needs of each student and partner with teachers and the community to address them. Whether it’s clean clothes, help with schoolwork, or emotional support to help a child cope with and recover from a traumatic event, we connect students with the relationships and resources they need to succeed. What sets us apart is our holistic approach to addressing both the academic and nonacademic needs of students.
