I'm truly fortunate to be part of an organization that prioritizes giving back to local communities and empowers us to be involved in those decisions. This year, I'm excited to direct my donation to the Jesse Cosby Center in Waterloo, Iowa. Their unwavering dedication and passion for our community's well-being have deeply inspired me.
For over five decades, the center has provided senior services with an adult day center, meals on wheels, and the youth summer feeding program throughout Black Hawk County. The center also provides services for the disabled, the sick, shut-ins, the homeless, and low-income households in crisis by providing connections to financial assistance programs and services.
Supporting the Jesse Cosby Center is a meaningful way to contribute to the betterment of our community and positively impact the lives of countless individuals and families.

My dad taught me how to play chess when I was little and I play it basically every day. I love the game. My senior year, I started the chess club at my high school. I've been to a few of Chess In Iowa's Chess Club Night Events so I know how far a donation like this can go. A lot of the chess clubs have outdated chess sets and clocks. With this donation, I hope they are able to update their setup or help sponsor a kid to grow as a chess player!
