Hello!
If you are getting bills from Quest that seem high, Please know that I have been working on this.
Quest reports that they have had some problems with their billing system. They are working on it and are resubmitting everything to insurance.
Quest states that you should disregard bills from them that you may have gotten recently.
Thanks again for your continued support.
Please let us know if you have continued problems.
Love, Dallas

Ladies!! Here is your reminder.
January is cervical cancer awareness month.
Women between that ages of 21 and 65 should have a Pap Smear with HPV screening every 3 years.
It's not the most comfortable procedure in the world, but your life is very much worth it!
We can do basic Pap Smears and speculum exams in the office, or we can refer you to gynecology if you prefer. Either way, give us a call!

Did you know that cinnamon can effectively lower blood glucose better than metformin?
Cinnamon increases your body’s production of proteins that carry glucose, which increases your insulin signaling, making you more insulin sensitive. It helps your body use the hormones you're already producing!
Cinnamon regulates dyslipidemia (the fancy word for abnormal cholesterol levels).
Believe it or not, cinnamon can help to decrease oxidative stress that causes diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinsonism. (That’s also why it works so well to assist your immune response in colds).
Cinnamon is also great for your gut! Its compounds are found to be beneficial for dyspepsia (upset belly, GERD), diarrhea, gastritis. And it has a profound impact on regulating digestion.
Just by adding this spice into your everyday diet, you can start to improve your overall well-being!!
Ceylon Cinnamon is the type of cinnamon which will give you the most benefit.
Keep in mind that while Cinnamon can lower your overall glucose readings, it can also be so good at it’s job that it drops your glucose too low. So, make sure to monitor for this. It can also enhance the effects of blood thinning medicines making the blood thinner.
Please make sure to discuss this and other natural remedies at your next appointment. We are always happy to help you stay healthy in a way that’s right for you
Be sure to check back for more information on natural remedies. Have fun and be safe!
If you've seen me recently for cold symptoms, chances are I have given you the following recipe. This is what I use for all my upper respiratory illnesses. Nursed myself through Covid with this concoction. It's what I have always done for my kids as well. Give it a try....
In a mug, mix hot water, a slice of lemon, a big spoonful of honey, a lg pinch of cinnamon, and an itty-bitty pinch of cayenne pepper. If you don't like Cayenne, you can add tumeric instead.
Drink this a few times per day throughout your illness, and it can be used as an immune support prior to getting sick.
Why? -
Lemon is super high in antioxidants, zinc and Vitamin C.
Honey has great antibiotic properties. It's also a good cough suppressant.
Cinnamon is high in antioxidants and has significant benefits on overall inflammation. Cinnamon has been shown to have antibiotic and antiviral properties.
Cayenne is good for digestion, and inflammation.
Tumeric is also high in antioxidants and inflammation. It also can have impact on the muscle pain associated with viral infections.
Hope this helps!!
Love, Dallas
We are diagnosing A LOT of Influenza A recently.
Here are some of the symptoms we expect to see when you're infected with the flu virus.
Antibiotics are not appropriate treatment for flu. Flu symptoms will hit you hard and fast.
Flu symptoms typically last about 10 days.
Protecting yourself is the first step. Wash your hands frequently, steer clear of people with flu-like symptoms. Maintain hydration. Immune support is always a good idea.
We are always here if you need us!
Happy New Year from all of us! Thank you for making us a success.
Here’s to an even better 2024. Your health is our priority.
Good Morning!

Michelle will be covering urgencies, but I'll be happy to see everyone again on Monday 12/18.
