As the construction crews get ready to pave the upper portion of Grant Road over night they have began the prep work.

When obstacles block the current path, you find a new path to move forward. Molly was a dislocated worker and needed to discover a new career path. Through SkillSource she explored her interests and aptitudes, and then worked with her career counselor on a plan to become a licensed massage therapist.

We are happy to share that Molly recently graduated from Columbia River Institute of Massage Therapy and is now employed at Hurst Chiropractic where each day she provides hands-on care to clients in the community. Congratulations Molly! 👏

The trash collection totals are in!!!!!

We were able to collect an astonishing 65 bags of trash, 2 abandoned coolers, 1 lost tire, 1 trash can lid, and various other odds and ends that we are so happy to get off the streets!

A very big thank you to our friends over at Douglas County Solid Waste, this would not have been possible with out them! (Douglas County, WA, Government)

We would like to thank every one that went out and collected trash over the last few weeks. We have such a beautiful valley, having people take time out of their day to pick up trash to help clean it up means the world to us!

Thank you everyone for another successful Golden Egg Hunt! We will see you again in 2025!

Today we had over 13 bags of trash turned in! Along with odds and ends we are happy to see off the street!

Just a reminder this weekend is the last few days to collect trash and turn in by Monday at 8:00 am to be entered in to win a massage with either Molly or Jaymie.

We appreciate all of the people that have participated and have collected trash so far and we look forward to sharing the total of bags that have been cleaned up!

Larry McFadden shared some impressive stats from his days out hunting for both trash and the egg!

Trash collecting (5 days and counting):

Let the fun continue! Since we have been on such a roll with cleaning up the valley, we would like to continue. For every bag of trash that we have had turned in, as well as every additional bag of trash that is turned in between now and Easter (Monday morning after is also okay) will earn you an entry into a drawing for a complimentary massage with either Molly or Jaymie! This drawing will take place at the end of the day Monday April 1st.
