Team Sweet Gerard’s is walking in loving memory of our sweet boy, Gerard and in honor of our baby girl, Alenna Kalea in the 15th annual Walk for Kids benefitting Ronald McDonald House Orange County (RMHOC). During the course of our children’s complicated medical journeys, we were in and out of Children’s Hospital Orange County (CHOC) and RMHOC became our “home away from home”. Because we live quite a distance from CHOC, RMHOC provided a place for us to stay close to CHOC, a place to shower, meals and support so that we could focus on the care of our children while they were in the hospital fighting for their lives. If you are unable to join our team, please consider donating to this beautiful cause and help families like ours stay close to their children during the most challenging & trying times of their lives. It was a Tiffany blue weekend of cakes!

The first was an actual Tiffany and Co. themed birthday cake for our client’s wife’s birthday surprise. It is obviously a replica of the famous Tiffany blue box that we ladies loveeee! Funny story, I had FaceTimed my mom to show her the cake and she thought it was an actual box! ☺️

The second cake was a “Bridgerton” themed cake for a client’s birthday tea party inspired brunch. It was a simple design for their celebration which accompanied the baby tarts and dessert shooters she also ordered in our previous posts.

Congratulations to one of our favorite couples, and who tied the knot yesterday! When it came down to their wedding cake, ’ signature lilikoi toffee crunch was the absolute choice for this sweet couple! Nar created this three tiered beauty, complete fresh flowers to match their beautiful tropical dream wedding. For their favors, the couple also ordered our custom Mac crunch snack size bags, wrapped in a jute bag and labeled with a custom tag to match their theme. Happy Wedding Day Jon and Steph! Last month, our eldest daughter, our sweet girl, Narielle turned 7! We celebrated “Hawaiian style” with a LUAU and of course, Mommy made her cake! Inspired by our baby girl’s new love for hula, this 3-tiered beauty was made with a “grass skirt”, fondant pink hibiscus, yellow plumeria, monsteras, ti leaves and a lei! The cake topper was also personally handmade by Mommy to complete the design. Definitely a labor of love for our sweet birthday girl. Happy Birthday Narielle! We love you so very much!
