This is what really happens at listing photo shoots to capture photos that turn heads. We pick a day when the weather is on its best behavior. A slightly cloudy day is usually what my photographer is after. It reduces harsh shadows for crisp, clear photos. We photograph exterior shots during golden hour, just after sunrise or before sunset, when the natural light is soft and diffused. Our photographer is always on the quest for natural light. We open the curtains wide to let light flood in to create that warm, inviting atmosphere. The clutter goes but the character stays. A few carefully placed items is what we need to make a house look homey AND spacious. That cozy corner? That unexpected view from the hallway? They're the unsung heroes of the shoot.
