Caleb is still missing. He was possibly seen this afternoon in an area north of Glenwood City wearing camouflage with a backpack. If you see him, contact your local law enforcement.

Our lower body is home to our biggest muscles! Proper training of these muscles can decrease risk of injury, promote stability and bone health, and increase core and joint strength.
RJ, a Health Trainer at our La Crosse location, is demonstrating four lower body exercises that can be performed easily both at the gym or at home, with or without weight added. The most important thing to remember no matter where you are working out is to always be safe and practice proper form to avoid injury.

🚨🚨 Our Play Event is fast approaching… Just 1 week away!!!
With that, we have some quick updates to share!
Here is a brief rundown of what to expect on the day of the event:
10am-12pm: Station rotations and free play
12pm-1pm: Trainer-led group excercise / cool-down
1pm-2pm: Ice Cream social and chat with the trainers!
- When you arrive, we ask that you check in at the table under the pavilion. We will guide you from there on where to proceed!
- For our ice cream selection, we will have both vanilla ice cream cups, as well as popsicles available for those with dairy allergies. Water will also be provided throughout the day!
We are so so excited to see all your beautiful faces next Saturday! It’s going to be a very fun-filled day☀️

Serena lives with type 1 diabetes. This has taught her that while you can be doing everything you’re supposed to, your body still might not always respond the way you want it to. She finds it important to not beat yourself up about it and lives by the quote “don’t be so hard on yourself.”

Your core houses Your abdominal muscles around the gut, the back muscles, the glutes, the muscles in the pelvis, and the diaphragm, which aids in your breathing.
Which in return helps your body throughout any exercise you do.
Your core is your body's functioning powerhouse system. So train it 💪🏻

Did you know:
Training your hips to open is beneficial for your overall core health.
When we have tight hips, we can cause a hotspot for injury & body pain. Manifesting as pain in the back, hip, or knee.
Your hip flexors actually originate in the lower back, so when we get tight, it can cause stress on the lumbar spine, experiencing pain in the front of your hip, from muscle shortening, or a pinching feeing from the rim around the hip joint socket.
Your hip flexors are very important piece in stabilizing the pelvis and spine. Giving you the ability to move and exercise without risk of injuring the lower back. They also are powerful muscles used when explosive movements is needed like running and jumping.
It’s important to maintain proper form during movement:
Focus on engaging your core by not arching your back when you're lunging down, and always put your weight on your hip, rather than on the knee of your trailing leg.
Engaging your glutes and rest back on your heels during the exercise, to help keep proper back alignment and maximize your results.
