BLADE DAY.

Its our least favorite time of the year! When our insanely heavy, yet surprisingly fragile cutting blades are exchanged from the paper cutters for dressing and sharpening.

Picture a 35-pound razor blade. One misstep and yikes. We use these to bulk cut paper stock, finish custom sized jobs, and once in a while to do carrots and julienne fries for lunch.

Needless to say, Brad pulled the chicken switch and left Ben holding the bag..er..blade.

Next Monday, come out and support our youth! 🧡

We are always delighted when a community organization calls us up to promote and make their event great! The Fairchild Area Historical Society has been a valued customer of QQP for some time. We hope you'll join us in celebrating their recent accomplishments. Consider joining them for their upcoming Grand Opening!

Here is some more information: In 2020, with the support of its nearly 100 members, FAHS was able to acquire two historic buildings in the heart of downtown Fairchild, both needing complete renovation. The smaller of the two buildings (once a gas station, post office, and café) is now open as a History Center, housing historical records and resources for family researchers, genealogists, and history lovers. The larger, red-brick building next door (once Fairchild’s First National Bank) is being renovated for use as a museum for which the Society is actively fundraising. FAHS invites the community to join us in celebrating the Grand Opening of our History Center. The Historical Society is proud to offer a new place to gather and visit in its newly renovated building in the heart of Fairchild’s downtown. Whether you enjoy reminiscing about the past or really love digging into old records and maps, you will want to stop by the History Center (and hopefully return again and again).

Where can you watch fireworks? If you're in Eau Claire, the answer is the High Bridge, just up the Chippewa River from downtown.
