UPDATE***
The Parks Department re-opened the Otter Creek Dog Park on Wednesday, November 6th. We completed all of the work that was scheduled; added a concrete entrance, lifted trees, smoothed the walking path, removed dead, dying and diseased trees and added additional wood chips.
We would like to thank the Community Parks Association for funding the concrete entrance through a generous donation.
*UPDATE*
Due to the weather, there has been a delay on completing the planned concrete work at the dog park. The work has been rescheduled to be completed on Monday, November 4th. The Dog Park will need to remain closed until Thursday, November 7th in order for the surface to cure properly.
The dead, dying and diseased trees have been removed, the tree canopy has been lifted, the fence line has been cleared and the walking path has been smoothed out. We are only waiting on the concrete work to be completed and we will install the fence back.
We are sorry for the inconvenience and ask for your patience in this process.

The City of Eau Claire Parks and Forestry Division will be temporarily closing Otter Creek Off-Leash Dog Park, located at 4503 House Road, for maintenance during the week of October 28th.
The planned maintenance will include the installation of a new concrete entrance, the removal of dead and dying trees, as well as removal of invasive species and overgrowth along the fence line for repairs to the fence.
For the safety of our four-legged friends, we ask that the community visit our other parks until the Otter Creek Dog Park reopens on Monday, November 4th.
What a Spook-tacular time our Par-te-Rec Participants had last night at their annual Halloween Party! Fun costumes, delicious treats, games and fun were all had! We even enjoyed pumpkin painting last week too!

White bandannas will be provided, but participants are invited to bring along anything else they would like to add some color to!
