The largest major in the College of Arts and Sciences at UW-Eau Claire. Student/faculty collaborative research is the hallmark of the department.
"Biology is the largest major in the College of Arts and Sciences and provides outstanding opportunities for students interested in the life sciences. Our 25 faculty offer more than 70 courses in topics ranging from Animal Behavior to Virology. Each year our students present their research at local and national scientific conferences and many go on to become science professionals."

The UW-Eau Claire campus community is invited to attend the 2022 Celebration of Scholarship (formerly the Authors Celebration) from 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, in the Ojibwe Ballroom of Davies Center.
