Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese medicine, which has several benefits and different ways of being applied. H&R focuses on therapeutic body Gua Sha, to better loosen up the tissue and relax your muscles. We use Gua Sha to help relieve muscle pain and tension by breaking up the tissue in tight and restricted areas. It increases circulation and blood flow to areas applied. It also can be used to flush out built up heat and toxins in your body, these among many are the added benefits of Gua Sha.

Gua Sha is a technique using tools to apply pressure in a scraping motion across the skin to relieve pain, tension and increases circulation. This action causes light bruising, which often appears as purple or red spots known as petechiae or sha.

Gua Sha is a great modality to add to a massage. If you feel extra tight and sore, Gua Sha helps relax surrounding muscles and also draws out toxins within the muscles and body.

Hi my name is Haylea Reigstad, I am a sole proprietor and certified Massage Therapist of Health & Restore Massage Therapy. I am operating H&R at Serenity Salon and Spa in Echo MN. I grew up in Belview MN, and I graduated from Echo Charter School. I got my Massage Therapy certification at the Willmar Ridgewater campus.

At H&R my purpose is to work with you in a comfortable, encouraging environment to create a customized massage fit to your goals.
My main focus is Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage. I also provide Relaxation Massage, with the option of hot stones. Additionally I provide Gua Sha, which is a Therapeutic scraping technique that uses tools to increase circulation and release heat. Clients have the option between a 30, 60, or 90 minute massage. If you have any questions before your massage feel free to ask.
